Chapter 4 Horse Riding in The 21st Century
Evasion-Part 2: Our Artillery Author Avis Senior
With The Best Intent …
It is with the best intent that a rider places a saddle on the horses back, regrettably often based on limited knowledge. The same rider often finds it hard to believe that the saddle and its array of accompaniments can actually be the cause of evasion by the horse, particularly when many of the evasions appear to manifest in front of the rider when in the saddle, rather than underneath her.
Nevertheless, wherever the manifestation, the finger points at the horse. Here, I, in my role as a riding coach, supportively describe and give simple yet detailed problem solvers that will empower you to make informed choices based on the present fit of your saddle and to seek help from an expert saddle fitter when appropriate.
